The FDR-AXP33 uses a 1/2.3in backside illuminated (BSI) Exmor R CMOS sensor, paired with a BIONZ X image processor capable of shooting 3,840×2,160 resolution 4K footage at either 24 or 25 frames per second or 1080p video at 50fps, as well as 20.6-megapixel stills. Designed for easy shooting as well as expedited editing, the camcorder ensures your memories are preserved exactly as you envision them.
However, most people may wonder to know whether can FCP X support 4K videos, the answer is of course No, why? So you won’t open and import Sony AXP33 4K footage into FCP X correctly. What caused the issues? The main reason is that at currently the best supported ormat by FCP X is Apple ProRes, and the other format videos are not supported well.
